Apologies for the way that we have been slacking on our posts. Lots of exciting things going on behind the scenes, that have been keeping us busy. Here are some recent happenings:

• Traffic has doubled to www.W6Talent.com each of the past three months.
• West Sixth now has over 3,400 connections on Facebook.
• West Sixth recently added about 50 more models in Northeastern Ohio.
• Ad Agencies have been contacting us about projects they need help on.
• West Sixth has been meeting with photographers, stylists and talent agencies in new markets. Over the next couple months you will see us growing into even more states!
• West Sixth is getting over 200 emails a day now, so please don't be mad it we don't respond quickly.

One of the most exciting things we have going on is the update to our website. We are just finalizing homepage designs and we are hoping to get the new site up at the first of the year. The new look will feature a different photographer (Eric Mull is featured above) and model on our homepage each week. We have been meeting with the creative agencies who are currently using W6Talent.com, and they are really excited about the new look and easier functionality of the site.

International Photographer Sebastian Smith in Cleveland, Ohio Oct. 1st – Oct. 5, 2009.

West Sixth is excited to announce that international photographer Sebastian Smith will be shooting in Cleveland. Sebastian’s portfolio spans a career of 14 years and features a distinguished client list that includes famous clothing designers, magazines and agency work. His most recent work has appeared in magazines throughout Europe including Italy, Portugal, England, France and Poland. Sebastian currently lives in NYC and divides his time throughout the year shooting editorial pieces between his studios in NYC and Paris.

West Sixth Talent Portal Launched for Ad Agencies and Creative Professionals

West Sixth Talent, a new online solution for finding talent, was launched allowing advertising agencies to search for and book talent from multiple talent agencies. The business is currently working with talent agencies in the Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati, with plans to expand nationally. This talent portal is designed to save advertising agencies time and money while providing them with a broader pool of talent to choose from.

West Sixth Talent helps ad agencies, photographers and other related creative professionals find and book professional talent. Professional talent can gain more exposure and increase their bookings by becoming a member of West Sixth Talent and creating a profile on the website. Member profiles include photos, resume and talent agency contact information for booking. Professional stylists and photographers will also be listed on the site creating one stop shopping for creative agencies.

West Sixth Talent will not manage talent. It has been created to connect creative professionals with talent that is already associated with a professional agency. West Sixth’s goal is to create the largest searchable database of professional talent by being the first to successfully unite professional talent in one single location.
