Casting Call for Fathead Commercial: 10-12 year old boys and girls


Looking for 10-12 year old kids for national advertising campaign

Optiem, a Cleveland-based production company, is searching for children, aged 10 to 12, for a national advertising campaign for Fathead. The advertisement may appear on national television and online. We are looking for 10-12 year old boys and girls, who fit the description of a “hipster kid:” great haircut, cute, cool clothes and accessories.

We’re looking for the kids who can present themselves as “having it all” and/or the “popular kid.”

The non-union actors and actresses who audition must be comfortable speaking and acting in front of a camera. Experience is preferred.

Unpaid auditions will take place at the Optiem offices in downtown Cleveland on October 3rd from 10:00am to 2:00pm, and on October 6th and 8th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Each audition will not last longer than 30 minutes. Following auditions, the chosen candidates will receive $100 per hour for approximately 8-16 hours of work.

HighBall Halloween: Masquerade On High
North Business Association and S2/Wilhelmina, one of the nation's premier modeling and talent management companies, will be holding an Open Model Call on September 24, 2009 for theCostume Couture Fashion Showdown segment of the 2009 HighBall Halloween: Masquerade On High. Up to sixty models will be featured on the extravagant, 80-foot runway built directly on High Street under the Short North's signature arches. In its debut last year, the event attracted nearly 10,000 guests who filled the venue, cheering for the fashion and costume designs presented by the models.

Open Call Specifications
The call is open to all men 5' 10 and taller and women 5' 5" and taller who are interested in participating in the Costume Couture Fashion Showdown October 31, 2009. Selected models will work with local fashion designers and will strut their stuff on the HighBall Runway.

About the Event
The event was introduced to wild acclaim on October 31, 2008. It is a production of the Short North Business Association. Nearly 10,000 guests attended year one. HighBall is built on a foundation of fashion and the artistry of the masquerade. The central focus of the event is the 80-foot runway built directly on High Street under the glowing iconic arches that line the Short North corridor. The street is converted to a high-tech, New York-style, celebration of Columbus' creativity. Music. Dancing. Seeing. Being Seen. The evening features a number of fashion and costume competitions held on the runway.

About the Costume Couture Fashion Showdown
Established and emerging fashion designers take to the runway with four looks from their standard collection as literally thousands of guests cheer them on. In addition, each designer creates one couture costume to cap off his/her collection. That single piece is judged by a panel of industry experts and one designer is crowned HighBall Couture Costume Designer of the Year. Fifty to sixty models participate on the runway in the showdown.

Casting Call: Seeking character Dylan (Late 20's muscular male) Detroit Michigan

Generation Courage is seeking character Dylan for their short Navaeh's Message. Late 20’s muscular frame, pretty boy face, tee shirt and jeans type guy, lacks compassion.

There is one make out scene; an interrupted make out scene so it's fairly quick with Courtney.

Filming is in Belleville August 21-23rd.

"LIFTED" Shooting in Birmingham, AL

The feature-length film "Lifted" goes into production at the end of next month in the Birmingham, AL area , under a SAG Modified Low Budget Agreement. This will mark the second collaboration between Hunter Films of Birmingham and Director, Lexi Alexander ("Hooligans" with Elijah Wood and last year's "Punisher: War Zone"). Their "Johnny Flynton" earned an Academy Award nomination for best live-action short film in 2003.

“Lifted” tells the story of a young Alabama boy who shares his father’s passion for R&B music. Just before the boy is to compete in a singing contest in Birmingham, his father is recalled for a tour of duty in Afghanistan. Father and son do manage to reunite in time for the big competitionDash Mihok, who also starred in “Johnny Flynton,” and hip hop artist Kid Cudi are signed for the film.

5.26.09 Casting Call: Sunday Morning

There will auditions for the short film "Sunday Morning". An open casting call will be held May 26th from 3:30pm-6:30pm at Art House Inc. If you have any other questions, feel free to call or e-mail me. Any help you can give us will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
  • Charlotte (35-50 / CAUCASIAN) A mother of two, Charlotte is a well read college professor. She is plagued by the guilt of emotionally abandoning her eldest son Max after she remarried. The death of her father has instilled in her a profound fear of death.
  • Max (17-22 / CAUCASIAN) Fresh out of a drug rehabilitation program, Max is returning home for the first time in a year. Though mildly resentful of his mother, Max’s aggression lies primarily with his step-father Steven due to the negative effect his presence has had on Max’s relationship with his mother.A middle-aged woman is forced to confront her mortality when a mysterious force threatens her family.

No monologue required. Sides will be given at the audition.
